High Temperature Insulated Recuperator
The Exothermics High Temperature Insulated Recuperator was developed and introduced in 1985 as a compact, heat exchanger to be used for applications up to 1600F. The exchanger is a unique, Patented design with a fully welded, heat transfer core constructed fabricated of a high temperature alloy and contained in an insulated casing with internal expansion bellows to isolate core expansion and movement.

The Insulated Recuperator has been used for furnace heat recovery as well as fume pre heaters for Thermal Oxidizers. The Insulated Recuperator is available in various sizes and airflow configurations, which are specifically selected, based on each application's parameters. Effectiveness up to 70% + is available.

Designed specifically as a fume pre heater, the product was patented in 1985 and introduced to the Industrial Market with application as a fume preheater for thermal oxidizers. The product has been successfully used for over a decade by numerous OEM accounts for their thermal oxidizers.
