Industrial Aluminum Heat Exchangers


In 1976, Exothermics Inc. designed and introduced an Aluminum plate exchanger to address the specific and more stringent needs for an Industrial low to moderate temperature heat exchanger.

The patented Exothermics Industrial Aluminum Heat Exchanger is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum alloy. The proprietary and Patented heat transfer core consists of a single sheet of sinusoidal stamped aluminum. The primary seal between the two streams is a fully welded seal that eliminates any cross contamination concerns.
The Exothermics Aluminum exchanger is available as an All Welded (AW) model or as the Standard Industrial Model (HT). Both models have the exclusive and proprietary welded primary seal. The All Welded model is provided with fully welded end seals for the plates. The Standard Industrial Aluminum exchanger is provided with the proprietary welded primary seal and a proprietary polymeric and mechanical end seal.

The Industrial Aluminum exchangers are available in 27 different sizes with effectiveness up to 70%+. The Industrial Aluminum exchanger is designed for the Industrial application with 1/2" plate spacing, 0.025" thick aluminum and removable access panels on each stream passage. The exchanger is available in multiple airflow configurations to optimize application and selection.
